Schedule of Events
In February 2006, we will work with other organizations and school students
to plan the events and develop multi-lingual educational and promotional
materials.
In March, the artists with a group of core volunteers will construct the
barge at the Duwamish Shipyard and install the barge at its final location.
In April, a month of events bring the focus to the Living Barge, the Duwamish,
and the neighborhoods that surround it (see full schedule BOB, can you put
a link here to the highlighted text below?).
In May, we will move the barge back to the Duwamish Shipyard, dismantle the
installation, and move the plants to Cesar Chavez Park. Volunteers will plant
the plants on the back slope of the park as a native plant restoration project.
April 2006
All events are appropriate for all ages and will take place rain or shine.

rowboat, kayak, sailboat, or canoe and join us for our floating closing party!
To Be Scheduled:
Canoe, Kayak and Boat tours of the Living Barge and the Duwamish: Check out
the Living Barge close-up, and hear unique perspectives on the history and
