In a quiet grove several artists conducted workshops, in this case Vishal Nagar described and played the tabla, a goatskin drum with carbon and iron filing centerspot which gives off an actual tone y note, mixing deft fingerflicks punctuated by notes resonant as a drop of water in a very deep well. His good humor and virtuosity made for a lovely interlude on a perfect afternoon.
