I tried… OK, so this wry, campy ensemble movie is packed with incredible actors, including a non drag role (or maybe hyperdrag role?) by RuPaul ~ cartwheel into a crystalline vision of the aesthetics & awkwardness of repression, the pain of inauthenticity, the friction of shame & the relief of letting go of other peoples perception by accepting ourselves … all wrapped in  brilliant costumes & sets & sung to the tune of a genuinely sweet love story. If you haven’t seen it, you’re in for a treat… if you’ve seen it before, prepared to uncover new easter eggs.
